See & Do
We may have castles and distilleries a-plenty, but there’s much more to see and do as well, from golf, wildlife, walking and cycling, to shopping, theatres and events.
The North East of Scotland is a stunning part of the world, stretching from the majestic mountains of the Cairngorms down to the sea. Its coastline is one of the most beautiful, with long sandy beaches interspersed with cliffs and rocky coves. Indeed it features in the National Geographic’s Top Rated coastlines list!
There’s something about the scale of this place between the mountains and the sea. You can roam for miles across great estates, expanses of moorland, ancient Caledonian forests, rolling farmland, vast dunes, wide sandy beaches and expansive coastlines., there are historic attractions, the malt whisky trail, great walking, cycling and mountain biking, and lovely places to eat and drink or go shopping.
