Scotland’s First Minister’s announcement yesterday (16th March) gave a real chink of light for the tourism industry and the green light for holidays to resume!
Details published by the Scottish Government plan to lift all travel restrictions within Scotland on 26th April and all holiday accommodation can open on that date too. The First Minister also advised that it is hoped that travel restrictions with the rest of the UK will also be lifted on this date or very soon thereafter, dependent of course on the data. Please note that single household restrictions will remain in place until 17th May, then 4 people from 2 households. For full details of the Scottish Roadmap out of lockdown, click the link!
